To make sure you don't have any worries during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track, we have some practical tips for you.
You don't need to worry about starving during the race weekend. Almost every grandstand has a food zone with refreshments.
There are numerous options for purchasing food and beverages at the stands, including both permanent bars and newly introduced food trucks, each offering unique culinary concepts. Due to logistical constraints, not every stand will feature the full range of food available throughout the circuit. However, every stand will provide a variety of alternatives to cater to different tastes.
Note you are not allowed to bring your food or drink on the circuit.
Before you head out to the circuit, ensure you’ve saved all the essential information on your phone, including tickets, maps, and details about your favourite riders. Be particularly cautious on Sundays, as the network at the Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo may become overloaded, making it difficult to access data. Keep in mind that reaching your friends could be a challenge. If you plan to meet anyone on Sunday, it's best to set a specific time and location in advance—similar to how people used to do it before the era of cell phones.
Remember that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal grandstands, wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're travelling with children, don't leave them without headphones.
In March, Termas de Río Hondo, Argentina, experiences warm and humid conditions, making it a typical setting for the MotoGP event. Daytime temperatures usually range from 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F), while at night, they can dip to around 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F). As March is part of the region's rainy season, occasional rain showers or thunderstorms are likely. If you're attending the race, be prepared for both warm weather and the possibility of rain.
If you want up-to-date weather information, we recommend using the Windy app.
